3 New Savant Features That We Love

Our Top Home Automation Choice Keeps Exceeding Expectations

3 New Savant Features That We Love

Many home automation companies may have a favorite system to integrate, and we can’t say we blame them. We recommend Savant as the leading choice for smart home automation systems because its platforms not only manage your whole home with minimal effort but also look good while doing so. You can control lighting, A/V equipment, HVAC, shades, security systems, outdoor systems and more with ease and elegance.

That’s why Sterling Home Technologies works with Savant to bring San Antonio, TX, homeowners a smart home control offering that meets all of their needs. Our goal is for you to enjoy your system for years, so we work hard to guide you to the right choices. During your consultation, we’ll discuss multiple possibilities with you so that you will feel confident in your choice and know which connected devices you need.

Energy Conservation

Through a strategic partnership with sister-company Racepoint Energy, Savant developed energy modules engineered to deliver both control and energy management functionality of lighting loads. Racepoint uses microgrid technology to reengineer how communities consume energy. It’s important to note that these innovations aren’t just for lighting functions: This new microgrid system also manages other components throughout the home, including HVAC, pools and spas.

When integrated with Savant, Racepoint’s trackers let Savant Pro users know how much energy they’ve used throughout the day, allowing them to make real-time tweaks that help them conserve. For example, users can glance at all their consumption data on their smartphone app and calibrate items around the home. For example, maybe you have the heat blasting when no one’s at home to use it: You can adjust your climate control from anywhere and continue your day feeling more responsible.

Enhanced Audio Offerings

Savant can connect to a variety of third-party speakers, but the company also wanted to make their mark on the audio industry last year. As a result, their own wireless tools, called Savant Smart Audio, emerged, including an L/C/R soundbar, surround-sound speakers and a subwoofer. Popular streaming services and the Savant Pro App integrate with the sound technology for the most seamless user experience.

This product line features WiSA compliance, ensuring pristine sound quality anywhere in the home for 2-channel or multi-channel entertainment systems. WiSA’s precise wireless protocol syncs all Savant Smart Audio speakers within 1/1,000,000 of a second even when using all eight channels and guarantees less than one-tenth the latency of a Bluetooth device.

Endless Innovation

It seems as though Savant has a keen intuition for what it takes to compete in a crowded smart home market, as well as how they can beat their personal bests to get ahead. At CEDIA 2019, they introduced their Pro Remote 2, with its dual-controlled remote, featuring both a 3-inch touchscreen and easy-to-operate buttons. The app-driven remote also features built-in Siri integration, multi-room control, an Apple TV integration and more.
